Woman rescues kitten from tree in the middle of the night, sparking an adorable friendship with family dog: 'She wants to be wherever he is'

A tiny kitten found herself in a very awkward situation — five feet up in a tree, meowing her little heart out. This woman first heard the faint cries late at night and went outside to investigate, searching everywhere for the source. Eventually, she spotted the kitten perched high in a tree bush, likely abandoned by a stray or dropped from a roof.

After a careful rescue, the frightened kitten came inside, initially spinning out and meowing nonstop. Despite her rocky start, she quickly adapted to her new surroundings and revealed her sweet, cuddly personality. The new cat mom decided to keep her as an indoor cat, giving her a safe, cozy home.

    OP PeachyMaiLaine I was laying in bed two nights ago when I heard a faint meowing. I went outside and couldn't find her anywhere I looked all over the ground and through all our little plants. The meowing persisted I looked up and she was sitting super awkward in this little tree bush about 5ft up. I think a stray must have had babies and dropped it off the roof or it fell off.
